8/17/00 Thursday

I talked to Bill either Tuesday or Wednesday and they're in Harrisburg, PA. They should be in DC tomorrow, ahead of schedule. Bill sent 5 more disks of pictures, check them out in the other pictures section. There's also a new movie to see (or rather hear) and updates to High Adventure.

Bill's in Canada, see excerpts from e-mail in High Adventure. There's also new pictures in the other pictures section and new mail from i_saw_bill.

Check out the article written about Bill & Monty in the The Portage County Gazette . I think it was published around the end of July..

I haven't talked to Bill lately but did receive pictures today. Follow the other pictures link to see the new additions. From email Bill has sent (see High Adventure) he was planning on being in Lansing, MI this past Saturday night.

7/13/00 Thursday

I talked to Bill on Tuesday, he was in Minneapolis. They arrived there on Saturday, after their biggest day riding 140 miles. They plan to stay 6 days and their next route is through Chicago then maybe up to Canada. They plan to be in Rochester, NY on August 6. Twelve days after that they should be in Washington DC.

A couple of days ago he witnessed a car accident and being the first on the scene, pulled a little redheaded girl out of the wreck. Luckily there were no major injuries. It's been adventure for Bill so far - I'll add a couple of stories to the High Adventure page.

I talked to Bill last week, he was in Helena, MT on 6/21 and doing well. They strayed from the original route but are now back on track. Check out the links below for more pictures and movie clips. He's also checked in with a few other people, follow the email link for more.

No new messages or update from Bill. He should be near Idaho.

Bill called Saturday June 10 and said he was in Okanogan, WA and on his way to Sandpoint, ID.

I missed the call but Gene reported that Bill had breakfast with the Kiwanas and was in good spirits. Monty is riding a mountain bike and has a sore butt.
